Although it’s my dad’s birthday, he’s not around.  He’s actually up north.

Because of this, there is no birthday dinner, no cake and no ice cream.  This will have to be addressed when he comes home.

 

Muse:  Kyle!

What?  You’re still in your pajamas…

Muse:  I know.  I have just been doing a lot of thinking lately.

What have you been thinking about?

Muse: Well, last night, mostly.  You see this body that I am in, right?

Yes.  You look like a tiny 5-year old.

Muse:  Yes.  And that’s what I have been thinking about.  Don’t reverse this spell.  I’m actually starting to like this form.  Tee hee…

How could you?  Don’t you want to be in your adult body again?

Muse:  Well, at first I did.  It’s kind of weird.  I’m really starting to get used to being a child.  I’ve actually missed experiencing this for a long time…

Well, I need to find a way to turn you back, okay?

Muse:  Don’t do that!  I like this form!

Why?

Muse:  I’m going back to the castle!  I knew you wouldn’t understand…

*Muse vanishes in a beam of light*

Well, I don’t know why she wants this.  Wait!  Didn’t she just say “tee hee”?  With that, I think that her desire to be that form is not by her own will alone.  It must be part of the spell.  This must be the next stage of it…

Well, I’ll have to think of something soon.  She is not going to stay a child.  I will free her from that spell somehow.

Today’s high is going to be 26 degrees and the silver lining is it being my dad’s birthday today.
