Today has been a very rough day for me.
Let’s review. First of all, I had a close call on the way to work. With the roads not quite ideal, I nearly swerved into the ditch. I swerved back and forth, into the left lane (thankfully, no one was coming) and back, where I finally regained control of my vehicle. With that, I can say that I got my scare of the day.
After that, there was an abnormally busy rush before we even opened. With it being exams this week, I was swarmed with a lobby full of high-schoolers. Do you guys really have to do this to us? I appreciate your business, but we’re ill prepared for a rush like this right at opening!
After that, we just got busy. For dough, I finished all the larges and had to put the smalls on hold. Later on, I was able to finish them. Someone had to come over from the other store since we were short on labor.
With that, the storm is finally over. The thunder has ended, and so has this entry.
Today’s high is going to be 35 degrees and the silver lining is almost being done with the week.
To those of you who are looking forward to Friday, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: You had a close call? I’m glad you’re all right! One more day! You can make it!
