Twas the NES before Christmas and all through the house

My friend came over with a cold yet to douse

The tissues were stocked in the bedroom with care

To battle cold season, just get out of here

He came, it was merry.  A whole lot of fun

We baked some more chex mix while playing Super Mario Run

Then we rose from our spots, it was time to get dinner

McDonald’s to go in the dead cold of winter

While we ate our food, a Christmas classic was played

Animaniacs on Netflix, a Nativity scene was portrayed.

Then my friend got real tired, and he drove out of sight

Merry NESmas to all, and to all a good night.

 

Muse:  That was awesome!

I know.  Time to get ready for bed since my friend left.  I have not forgotten about Rogue One.  We can talk about it tomorrow.

Muse:  Okay.  Good night, Kyle!

*Muse re-enters her Pink TARDIS*

Time to get ready for bed now.  Tomorrow, the five day countdown begins…

Today’s high is going to be 18 degrees and the silver lining is my friend coming over.
