Did I say ketchup? Actually, it’s “catch up”, but I find it a lot more fun to use wordplay.
Today at my store started as your typical day. I had eight batches of dough to work on. Nothing out of the ordinary. Then we get a call from the other store, and I get the news. Their store is going to be closed for the next three days, since their store is being remodeled.
What does this mean for me and the store that I work at? A lot of the customers that normally order from the other store will order from ours instead. It will be insanely busy.
But not to worry. I also got news that two managers from the other store will be working with us. When I heard that, I was greatly relieved. Bring it on! With our team of five, we can take on anything!
And we did. Since we will be servicing clientele from both stores, extra dough had to be made. This was a cinch working with the other manager. That extra dough got made in no time and we will be ready for the next day for sure.
What will tomorrow bring? Stay tuned for Mustard Day. Things are about to get interesting.
My Muse is 1.75 months old today. She is 16.5 inches long and she weighs 4.03125 pounds. Still the size of a preemie.
With my friend coming over soon, I will be cutting this short.
Today’s high is going to be 62 degrees and the silver lining is my friend coming over later on.
To those of you who like friend visits, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Nurture: She’s sleeping a little less. Not much of a difference. Hopefully, she’ll be a toddler soon…
Muse: *snore* Ehhhhahhhh… *snore*
