Me & My Muse – Day 1186: Mountain of Boxes – Part II

Believe it or not, there is actually a sequel.  But trust me.  It ends on a very positive note.

Here’s the exciting conclusion!

I come in this morning, expecting everything to be taken care of from the day before.  When I go to put my lunch away, it turned out that it wasn’t.  The supplies from the other store was still inside the walk-in.  But considering that I was able to get everything done yesterday, I proceeded on as normal.  I cleaned the oven parts and took care of all of the morning routine.  I got dough done in under two hours, had my lunch and survived a very crazy lunch rush.

After the lunch rush, something amazing happened.  Some workers came over to take all of the supplies to the other store.  What a relief!  With all of their stuff taken out, our walk-in is back to normal.  And I can’t think of a happier ending than that.

My Muse is taking her nap right now.  She is 11.25 months old.   She is 26 inches tall and she weighs 12.34 pounds.  The height of a 6 month old and the weight of a 3 month old.

I now need to get ready for tonight’s meeting.  I have another speech, like usual.  After October, I think I’ll take a break for the rest of the year, since I’ll have my AC Gold speeches done.

Today’s high is going to be 74 degrees and the silver lining is going to another Toastmasters meeting.

To those of you who like keeping busy, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Nurture: She should be getting up soon.  She’s been sleeping for almost two hours now…
