Having made the appropriate calendar check today, it is official. Tonight is another Toastmasters night. One that that will be pretty fun…
*is teleported to Muse’s room, appearing just below my Muse’s diapered bottom and tiny legs*
And once again, my Muse teleports me here right in the middle of a diaper change. What is the meaning of this?
Muse: Kawl! Igo pah-ee! Igo pah-ee!
Nurture: It’s okay, Kyle. I just finished changing her.
*Nurture throws wadded up diaper into the waste bin*
Did she go potty?
Nurture: No. She’s interested in the potty, but I don’t think she’s ready. She just watched a potty training video and she’s copying what she saw.
Muse: Mama! Igo pah-ee!
Nurture: Yes dear! You go potty! (faces me) I’m getting her ready for her nap. She gets one sippy cup of water.
Let’s see. She’s 20 months old. She’s 29 inches tall and she weighs 20 pounds. The height and weight of a 12 month old.
Nurture: And that makes today easy. She’s in 12 month old clothing today. And I had to get the Size 3 diapers back out since she was the size of a preemie yesterday…You’re my mini girl, aren’t you!
Nurture: She can’t say “mini” yet. So she just says “me”. Time for your nap, sweetie!
And it’s time for me to get ready for tonight’s meeting. I’ll see you later! Bye Muse!
Nurture: Bye Kyle! Say bye, Musie!
Muse: Bah Kawl!
*teleports back to reality*
My Muse needs to be just a little older to understand toilet training. In about another couple weeks, she’ll finally be an adult again. I can’t wait! That’s granted that she’s able to thrive in her milestones…
Today’s high is going to be 71 degrees and the silver lining is going to tonight’s Toastmasters meeting.
To those of you who like attending evening activities, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Nurture: Now Musie, if you have to go potty, let mommy know. Mommy will get you to the potty right away. Here’s your sippy cup. Have a nice nap.
*Nurture kisses Muse on the cheek and leaves room*
Muse: Igo pah-ee…
