How so?
This Sunday was a little different since I didn’t go to small church in the morning. Instead, I went to the first service since my brother, parents, grandparents, cousin, and his girlfriend all wanted to go to that. That left me no choice but to skip small church this week. I will return next week for sure.
After church, I had breakfast with everyone, which was pretty good. I then came home.
For today, I think I will start on the minute by minute for the conference. After that, I will go to my two Life Groups. That’s pretty much it in a nutshell.
Nurture: This is going to be a challenge.
Remedy: Don’t be discouraged, my dear.
What’s wrong with her today? Is it toilet training?
Nurture: No. It’s teaching her how to walk. I’ve stood her up on her feet several times and she can’t stand on her own. After a while, she just starts crawling around. That’s how this morning went. She’s taking a nap right now.
How old today? Let’s see…She’s 14 months old, right?
Nurture: She is. I measured and weighed her too. She’s 27 inches tall and she weighs 14.75 pounds. I just put her in Size 2 diapers.
She has the height of an 8 month old and the weight of a 4 month old.
Nurture: I know. She’s very petite. The Intangible pediatrician predicts that she will be about 4 and a half feet tall as an adult.
Is that it? She was taller in her last life cycle…
Nurture: I know. She stopped growing as a sophomore in high school when she was 5 foot 2.
Remedy: That’s nothing. I think you were shorter. You were about 4 foot 3 when I started dating you…
Nurture: Yes, but I was 5 foot 0 in my later cycle!
Remedy: Don’t you mean your current cycle? I think that you were 4 foot 9 in the cycle before that…
Nurture: Yes…I had a few different sizes before I ended up at this one. I’ll never forget my second life cycle. I was almost 6 feet tall!
Remedy: That was before I met you. I don’t ever remember you being that tall. You were 4 foot 3. A lot of Intangibles mistook you for a kid, but not me. You were just a very short woman…
Nurture: Enough…I often like to forget those earlier days…At least my height…
It’s pretty strange that you experience different life cycles.
Nurture: What? It’s normal to us. You mean you don’t experience that?
Remedy: Of course not! Kyle’s a Tangible human.
Nurture: Oh. I knew that. Sorry!
How could she forget?
Remedy: We had a late night last night. She’s very tired. Things always get rough when Muse changes her age. It happens every night at midnight…
And it’s part of the 100 day cycle, right?
Nurture: It is. It’s all part of being a Muse…
Remedy: Only there’s no cycle with the first birth. Muses don’t start having cycles until their 13th birthday…
Nurture: It’s kind of like puberty, but with Muses! I’ll never forget my first cycle…
Remedy: Yeah…I think that I was a yeti for my first cycle. And weren’t you a fairy? This was before I met you, but I believe you told me once…
Nurture: I was…And I was very nervous. What would she think when she saw that I wasn’t her dear Muse? I was never told that Muses had cycles…
Remedy: I was, so I knew what to expect. Fortunately, my second cycle was better. I was a super genius!
Well, I hope you get Muse to start walking soon. I don’t want to see her fall behind…
Nurture: She won’t. I was successful in getting her to crawl! She will walk. I will make sure that she can stand on her own first…
Well, enjoy the rest of your day! I’m going to start on my minute-by-minute list…
Remedy: We’ll let you do that. Bye Kyle!
*Remedy and Nurture vanish in a beam of light*
My Muse should be able to walk. She should crawl, so it’s only a matter of time. Time to get started on the list.
Today’s high is going to be 72 degrees and the silver lining is having breakfast with everyone today.
To those of you who like breakfasts at restaurants, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Nurture: She’s going to walk, honey. I’ve got a really good feeling about this…
Remedy: I know. You got her to crawl before…
Muse: *snore* Mamamamama…
