Yup. I have decided that today is going to be Ice Cream Day.
But on one condition. I get some website homework done, and I can help myself to some ice cream. Yes, it’s a good motivator so that’s what I decided.
I am also going to refresh myself on the whole field of Communications. Corporate communications in particular. Brand building wouldn’t be a bad thing either.
And did I say that there would be a My Writing Journey soon? Yeah. I should get on that. The ice cream is calling me and I can have some if I get these done.
Oh, and my Muse is being a sleepyhead this morning. She hasn’t even woken up yet! My clone is gone, since I deleted him last night. Don’t need a clone if I’m available to raise her…
Muse: Dada! Daaaaaaaaada! Waaaaaah!!!!!
Again. How did you teleport out of your crib? You overrode that One Privilege again! Let’s see…You’re 17.5 months today? You’re still crawling. Why aren’t you walking? You should be by now. And you’re 28 inches tall and you weigh 17.81 pounds. This would make you the height of a 10 month old and the weight of a 7 month old. Here. Let’s get you back to your room…
*teleports with Muse back to her room*
And you’re still flashing like a night light. This is bothering me. I don’t want you to get too powerful…
Muse: Tee hee…Tee…hee…
Here. Let’s get you cleaned up. Come with me, my little light bulb…
*Muse crawls along the ground*
So you can’t even walk now? Most toddlers can walk by about 18 months. *sigh* I’ll carry you to the bathroom then*
*picks up Muse and carries her to the bathroom*
Muse: Tee hee…
There you go! Got your diaper on. Had to get a size 3 since you have outgrown the preemie diapers overnight…
Muse: Tee hee…Pee pee…
No. That one’s staying on for a while…
Muse: Dada…Hold me…
*picks up Muse*
Muse: I done…
Done with what?
Muse: I done…Tee hee…
Okay. Good. I think I know what you mean. You’re not going to be changed for a while.
*sets Muse down*
Here. I want you to walk over to me, okay?
*Muse crawls over to me*
No. Walk over. You need to learn to walk.
*Muse grabs leg of crib to get her balance, then quickly falls over*
So your legs are too weak to even stand? Fine. Crawl over to “daddy” (I’ll pretend until Remedy gets back)…
*Muse crawls over to me*
Muse: Tee hee!
*Muse flashes intensely, with an aura surrounding her*
All that power from the Master’s Privileges is bothering me. Drain her powers. One Privilege, ENGAGE!
*Muse flashes even brighter*
It’s not working! Does she really have that much power inside of her now?
Muse: Tee hee! Dada I flash! Dada I flash!
*sigh* Aren’t you tired, honey?
Muse: No dada! Not tired! Not tired! Tee hee!
Yes you are. One Privilege, ENGAGE!
Muse: Dada…I tired…*snore*
*Muse falls asleep in my arms*
There. At least my One Privilege can still control her to some degree. I feel like she’s more of a handful with that Dark Muse still inside her. I honestly don’t think that it’s the Dark Muse’s fault. The Dark Muse is being heavily influenced by my Muse’s infantile mind. This in turn is also affecting my Muse, and her development. I hope that this doesn’t worsen. Pretty soon, she won’t be able to even crawl…
*sets Muse in crib, with a fresh bottle of milk and her pacifier*
There. She’s all set. And she has her binky if she whines for it later. I don’t know how to get the Dark Muse out of her, but I feel like I’ll be able to make progress when I do.
*teleports back to reality*
I have the inter-dimensional baby monitor on in case she needs anything. Putting her to sleep will only have her sleep for so long. I’ll give it about 3 hours.
Time to work on my list, so I can have some ice cream. My friend may also be over later, so I need to get going.
Today’s high is going to be 81 degrees and the silver lining is having this day off to work on my website.
To those of you who are enjoying this Saturday and are craving ice cream, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: Dada…Mama…Mama…Tee hee…
*Muse flashes intensely with an aura of light surrounding her*
