Guess what, everyone?  It’s New Year’s Eve!  Okay.  Maybe not New Year’s Eve, but it’s New Year’s Eve for the Fiscal Year.  Starting tomorrow, the calendars will all roll over to the beginning of a new Fiscal Year. Isn’t that exciting?

Not excited?  Okay.  Well, I am.  I am going to a Toastmasters meeting tonight, and it’s going to be a packed agenda!  I better practice for my speech…OW!

 

Muse:  Sorry.

You just zapped me.

Muse:  I can’t help it.  My entire body is electrified today.  It hasn’t been good for me so far.

Well, just give it a day.  You’ll feel better tomorrow.

Muse:  Thanks!  Now I’m happy!

OW!  I think that your happiness just zapped me.

Muse:  Sorry again.  My body’s made of electricity, so I can’t help it.  I’ll see you later!  Have fun at the meeting!

*Muse vanishes in a giant sizzling spark*

Well, I need to get leaving pretty soon.  After that, I will call it a night.

Today’s high is going to be 80 degrees and the silver lining is going to tonight’s Toastmasters meeting.
