To start off this today, I woke up and got ready.  I then went to church with my brother. And with the series that we’re covering, I know that this year will be off to a good start.

For 2016, I really want it to be the year of great and amazing new things.  I know that my relationships with women having to be stronger if I am to start dating them.  But to do that, I need a decent job.  Priorities, priorities.

 

Muse:  Well you at least have me to practice your relationships with women.

But you’re Intangible.  Imaginary.  A figment of my own imagination.  How is that supposed to help?

Muse:  Imaginary?  So what if I am?  I’m a light in the darkest corner.  If there is mischief, I am there to resolve it.

You may be a hero, but you’re not a real one.

Muse:  Many “heroes” are not real.  Just look at the list.  Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Ironman, Captain America, Wonder Woman, Black Widow, Thor…The list goes on!

I guess you have a point.  But I need some real life experience with women.  You’re just some imaginary substance formed to satisfy my longing for a companion that I do not possess.

Muse:  And why don’t you possess this?  I recommend the practice.  You will be dining with some married couples through your church, right?

Yes, with a possible mix in age.  There will probably be one young couple mixed with some older couples.

Muse:  And those older couples will help you with their experience.  Each one of them will be able to teach you something.

They will, but what can you do? You’re just an agent of creativity.

Muse:  Then why are you talking to me?  You feel insecure, and you want someone to talk to.  I’m there to help with that.  Yes, I can’t substitute a real woman, but take the gift for what it is.  You said it yourself.  This is 2016, right?  Have a winning attitude about this.  I’m a heroine to the world, but I’m also one to you.

You’re right.  You may not be real, but I made you with a purpose in mind.  A purpose that will benefit me, and hopefully also those who are lonely with low levels of self esteem…

Muse:   That’s right.  Now if you would excuse me, there’s a person in danger.  I need to go rescue them.  Now.

To make corrections from last night, my friend didn’t come over.  It was just a peaceful evening, where I joined him with my brother in an online session of Tri Force Heroes.  After that session, I got ready for bed.

Looking at today, I am just going to take it easy.  I work tomorrow, so I’ll be going to bed a little early.

Today’s high is going to be 29 degrees and the silver lining is enjoying this Sunday off.
