Have you ever ran a marathon?  Mine is about to begin today.  Just to give you an idea of what my marathon looks like, here is a continuum, from the starting line to the finish line:

START….3-10pm…8am-3pm…6:30-8:30pm (TM)…9am-3pm…….7:30a.m.-5:30 p.m. (TM DEC)….FINiSH

For those who don’t understand, I’ll translate.  Starting today, I work a 3 to 10 p.m. closing shift.  Following that, I work an 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. opening shift Thursday (since I have to clean the oven parts).  That gives me two hours before I leave for my 6:30-8:30 p.m. Toastmasters meeting at Saginaw Harvey Spaulding.  But that’s not it.  The very next day, I have a 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. opening shift on Friday morning.  That gives me a few hour respite before I go to bed again, to get up on Saturday morning for my carpool to Grand Rapids, where I will be all day for a conference walk-through in the morning and a DEC Meeting in the afternoon.  And with Grand Rapids being a two-hour commute, I’ll be back home between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m., which is where my finish line should be.  It may not be 26.2 miles, but it will certainly feel like it.

Today’s high is going to be 62 degrees and the silver lining is getting everything done before the “marathon” begins.

To those of you who have ever dealt with a hectic schedule before, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  My schedule is easy!  Eat, eat, eat, watch TV, eat, eat, sleep, eat, eat, and then sleep again!  Oh, and I weigh 700 pounds now.  What’s with my weight slowing down now all of a sudden?
