Well, this morning was a rather interesting turn of events.  Due to the heavy rain, the roof leaked onto the oven.  As a result, the store was closed all morning while we attempted to keep the mess under control.  Towards the end of my shift, the roof was fixed and we were able to mop up all the water and get the store up and running.  Everything was already made and in the walk-in prior to the incident.  It was just a matter of getting everything out and in the oven.

So with that, my morning was pretty interesting.  An unfortunate setback for the store, but we will certainly bounce back.

Looking ahead to this weekend, I need to make some spinach dip for the Toastmasters year end celebration tomorrow afternoon.  Besides that, I will just take a breatber.

Today’s high is going to be 64 degrees and the silver lining is being done for the weekend.
