NOTE:  This post contains some creative writing elements.

 

Having worked the past six days in a row, I can exhale today.  In looking at today as a whole, I view it as a day to recharge.  A day to get some things done around the house that I would otherwise not have time to do.

 

Muse:  And a day to play with me!  Tee hee!

How about not?  I really don’t want to deal with you today…

Muse:  Fine!  If you don’t wanna play with me, I’ll crush you like an itty bitty bug!  Tee hee!

*sigh*  I guess I will, for the sake of my survival…

Muse:  We’ll play the growing game!  The one who is the biggest wins!

That’s not fair!  I can’t grow like you can!

Muse:  Tough!  That’s your problem!  Ready?  One, two, three!  WHEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!  I win!

Of course you can!  You’re the only one that can grow!

Muse:  You didn’t even try!

Well, how can I?  I’m bound by reality.  You’re not.

Muse:  That’s not my problem!  Tee hee!  Let’s play hide and go seek!  You’re it again!  Try to hide somewhere this time, okay?

Well, I can, if you count to 100 properly…

Muse:  Ready?  1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8…9…10…14…100!  Ready or not, here I come!  Hey!  You didn’t hide!  I still see you!  Tee hee!

How could you?  I was behind a tree!  You’re gigantic, yet you can still see me?

Muse:  Well, I can’t help it if I’m good at hide and go seek!  You’re a lousy hider!

*Muse’s stomach rumbles*

Muse:  Well, I’m hungry!  After my lunch, you’re gonna try hiding again!  If you don’t try this time, I will crush you!  Tee hee!  Time for yummy lunch!

*Muse vanishes in a cloud of smoke*

While she’s gone, I think that I will end this entry.  Today’s high is going to be 53 degrees and the silver lining is having this day off.
