When you celebrate the arrival of 2015, go to bed at 1:00 a.m., and then get up at 5:00 a.m., you’re bound to be a little tired.
And after a seven-hour shift at work, I’m ready to relax. Maybe a little nap before I do any of that.
This is especially the case, since I have picked up another morning shift tomorrow.
To sum up last night, I enjoyed myself for much of the day, playing the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I feasted on snacks and watched some videos with my brother. My friend came over at 9:30, and I watched him play a little more of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
After that, we rang in the new year. We ran outside and honked the car horns, letting the entire neighborhood know that 2015 has arrived. After that, me and my brother toasted with our friend. He led it, toasting to ridiculous feats not yet achieved, referencing the year 2015 from Back to the Future II.
After the toast, my friend left, and I promptly went to bed for my shift for the next day.
With this done, I will now relax. I will have some more snacks and maybe take a nap.
Today’s high is going to be 28 degrees and the silver lining is being able to ring in 2015 with my friend last night.
To those of you who are enjoying the first day of the year, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: Tired? Try to get some rest tonight. You will need it for tomorrow! Tee hee…
