Me & My Muse – Day 529: Trip Down Memory Lane: Christmas Edition!

With my Christmas shopping done and only two gifts left to wrap, there’s only one thing left to do.  Watch home videos of all the Christmases of yesterday.

So far, I have watched the Christmas of 88, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.  What remains are the Christmases of 2008-2013.

Muse:  What about the other Christmases since you were born?

My parents didn’t own a video camera until 1994.  Before then, they had to rent one for temporary use.  This explains the gap between 88 and 93.

Muse:  Well, I have every Christmas from 4 months old to last year!  Having watched them last year, I’ll watch them again!  Tee hee!

Well, unfortunately, the only one that I have is from when I was four.

Muse:  Well, I was four months, and I was cute!  I cried after I opened my first gift.  I couldn’t do it myself.  I needed help But after they opened it, making my hand tear off the wrapping paper, I cried.

You did?

Muse:  Well yeah!  The gift was scary!  It was just a stuffed Santa but for some reason it scared me!  But I looked so cute.  I’m going to watch it now!  Tee hee!

Sounds like a good idea.  Time to watch Christmas 0f 2008…

Today’s high is going to be 32 degrees and the silver lining is having the day off.  My friend will be coming over later on.  It will be a fun time of opening “prezzies”, eating Thai curry, playing Wii U and watching Doctor Who.

To those of you who like having a break during the busy Christmas season, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  Time to watch the Christmas footage from 30 years ago…That’s me?  My, was I whiny!  Tee hee!
