The agenda for today? It’s pretty straightforward. Go to the polls and vote, go to work a little later and go to a Toastmasters meeting right after work.
For voting, I suggest that everyone does. Your vote could help change Michigan’s future for the better.
Having already retired Walker on Politics, that is all I am going to say in terms of politics. Vote today. Give Michigan a better future!
Muse: And that’s by voting for who?
Snyder, of course!
Muse: Now you’ve done it. You’re going to start a political firestorm.
If I do, so what? These are my views, and if nobody likes them, they have other places to go. As I have said already, Walker on Politics is done, so that means no arguing back and forth.
Muse: What if someone does?
I will ignore them. This blog is not a wrestling match. Just a place to post my daily thoughts.
Muse: Then why the title? “Decide Michigan’s Future”. This is a call to action for everyone to vote. While this is a good gesture, not everyone is going to vote for your candidate. All I’m saying is that you’re inciting the “firestorm”. If you don’t want it, talk about something else.
*sigh* I know. I just need something fresh to put up for today. Reusing old titles with similar names is starting to get tiresome…
Muse: Then maybe it’s time for a brainstorm. Anyway, I don’t mean to give you a hard time. I’m just telling you what results you will reap from your actions.
Who would you vote for?
Muse: Who do you think? *gives me a kiss* We’re of the same mind…
I’m guessing you would vote for whoever I would.
Muse: *nods* Time for some coffee. Before this cycle ends at 500, let’s at least discuss a couple of controversial matters.
We will. I’m thinking maybe Saturday. Some ideas. Is there is God, views on homosexuality, abortion and other matters.
Muse: I like all of those. I’ll let you know which one I want to talk about first. Time for some coffee!
Time for my second cup as well.
She always makes these longer, which is something I like…and something I miss. With my busier work schedule, I have found it hard to maintain the pattern that I usually maintain here. But I’m trying, and with enough effort I’m sure that it will pay off in the end.
As I said before, I will be going to the polls, going to work and going to a Toastmasters meeting. I will also be practicing for a speech so I better get going on that.
Today’s high is going to be 58 degrees and the silver lining is having a shot to change Michigan’s future for the better. For the weather, it’s supposed to cool down to 47 today.
To those of you who like having the power to change your state’s future, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: I hope that he talks about that one first. It is so controversial and I’m sure that we can get a good discussion going…
