After six evenings of work, I have earned my reward. A well deserved day off.
Having spent the first bit of the morning resting, there is still a little bit of the morning left. How will I spend the remainder of the day? There are plenty of options. Some productive ones and some not so productive ones. I side with the option of choosing things that are far more productive.
Muse: I second that option.
You second it? I prefer productivity over wasting time myself.
Muse: Good. Speaking of productivity, I am hard at work on constructing a special room.
A special room? Just one room? What purpose would this one room serve?
Muse: Prayer. The room would be quiet. No sound can penetrate it. The room would smell wonderful and would be decorated with comfortable furniture.
Interesting idea. Where are you building this room?
Muse: Right here. In The Walker Estate. It should be finished by Thursday. I want it to be a room fully devoted to prayer.
I will definitely check it out. On Thursday, let me know when it is finished. I will definitely check it out myself.
Muse: I will. I need to continue working on it. It needs to be just right. I’ll let you know when it’s done!
Okay. I will be looking for it!
Ah. Can you taste it? Inhale and exhale a few times. Can you taste it now? It is the pleasant taste of oxygen. Something that is typically taken for granted on any given day. But on a day like this, I can taste it all the more. The flavor becomes more savory when I have a day off like this. My plans for today include the more productive options in the manner upon which I should spend this day. Practice a couple times for Thursday’s speech, work on my story and possibly draft out a budget for living expenses. I am guessing that I will have to save up a little money before I move out. Even if I room with my brother, that will still be expensive.
Tonight, I will be attending a Toastmasters meeting in a pavilion at a park. It should be an interesting setting and quite fun. I’ll let you know how it turns out. Following that, I will have dinner and go to bed early, since I have an early shift tomorrow morning. I work an 8 to 3, so I need to get going off to bed.
Today’s high is going to be 77 degrees and the silver lining is finally having a day off.
To those of you who like having days off, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: God, please let this prayer room be everything you want it to be. A room of prayer. A place that anyone can go for prayer. Please God, let it be so!
