Me & My Muse – Day 108: It’s all Relative(s)

What is?  To answer this question, you would have to know what my plans are for tonight.

After another grueling 5 hour shift at Little Caesars, I will be visiting my relatives.  My aunt will be visiting from downstate and my uncle is visiting from Arizona.  They will all be at my grandparents house, so that should be fun.  I will meet my parents there for dinner after work.  With my grandparents, aunt and uncle there, it’s all “relative”.  Or, in this case, “relatives”.

Muse:  So are you going to read or write today, Mr. Writer?

No to both.  I honestly am not going to have time until Sunday to do any of those things.

Muse:  Very well.  That puts you at 7 days of no reading and 5 days of no writing….

Are you doing this to annoy me?

Muse:  I’m doing this to encourage you.  I want you to keep writing and keep reading.  What you do affects me.

So now the truth comes out.  Don’t worry.  I won’t let your health suffer.

Muse:  Please don’t.  Considering that you’re busy today, I’m going to continue reading my romance novel.  I am almost done with it.  I should be finished reading it by tomorrow.  Don’t forget to read and write!

I won’t.

So I told you my plans.  Work at Little Caesars and then have a dinner with my parents, grandparents, aunt and uncle.  That’s the plan for today.

Today’s high is going to be 46 degrees and the silver lining is seeing my aunt and uncle tonight.

To all of you who have relatives to visit, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse:  Time to continue on my romance novel.  I’m way behind on my books, considering that I was infected for 100 days….
