Me & My Muse – Day 33: Grow Up

I am not done discussing the issues regarding this series yet.  While I talked about my series as a whole yesterday, I will focus specifically on my Muse.

To be frank, I am tired of her childish behavior.  On more than one occasion, she has thrown a temper tantrum, forcing me to humiliate her in front of every single one of you.  I am starting to get tired of it.  Whatever secret she has about that immature behavior, she’s not telling me.  I wish I could get it out of her.  She may decide to act this way, but she needs to remember.  No matter how silly and stupid and immature that she wants to act, she is still an ADULT, whether she likes it or not.  She is not a kid anymore, and she needs to grow up.

Muse:  Hello!  How were the blueberries that I picked for you yesterday?

They were okay.  While I appreciate that you got me some blueberries, you got me WAY TOO MANY.  How do you expect me to put a ton of blueberries in the freezer?  I had to throw most of them out!

Muse:  Well you DID ask for a “ton” didn’t you?  Tee hee….

Yes, but not literally.  You have a real problem with that, you know?

Muse:  Who cares if I do?  Now whatcha talking about?

I’m talking about you, and your immature and childish behavior.  Has it ever occurred to you that everyone is reading this and are already forming judgments on you, based on how you act?

Muse:  Why does it matter how I act?  Nobody reads this anyway!  Besides, I’ve never seen a single comment that criticizes my behavior.  So I will act however I want to, and you’re not gonna stop me, so NYAH!

See?  That “nyah” thing.  I’m starting to get tired of your childish behavior.  Now like it or not, you are an adult, and you need to start acting like one.

Muse:  I don’t like adults!  Adults are stupid!

So you’re saying that you’re stupid?

Muse:  No, because I’m not an boring adult.

Yes you are.

More raspberries?  That’s real mature, isn’t it?

Muse:  I like raspberries.  And you’re boring.  Adults are boring!

Adults are not boring.  I proved that the other day.

Muse:  Adults are boring!  Adults are boring! Adults are boring! Adults are boring!

Why don’t you just grow up?

Muse:  Grow up?  Okay.  If you say so.  Tee hee!

No!  I didn’t mean that!  You were getting big before, but now your head barely touches the ceiling!

Muse:  You told me to grow up, so that’s what I’m doing.  I think I’ll grow up some more!  Tee hee!

It’s a good thing that you’re Intangible, or your head would’ve just smashed through the ceiling of my house.  And I didn’t mean that grow up!  I meant to act older!

Muse:  Whee!  Your house looks like a toy house now.  I think I’ll play with it! Phew!  I almost stepped on it!

DON’T step on my house!  And can you grow back to normal?  This joke is getting stupid.

Muse:  But growing up is so much fun!  You should grow up with me!

I already have.

Muse:  Oh, that’s right.  You’re an ADULT.  Adults don’t play fun games like I DO!  WHEEEEE!!!

You’re now taller than the tallest trees in my neighborhood.  Do you think you can stop now?

Muse:  What was that?  Grow up some more?  I don’t listen to boring adults.  Tee hee!

But adults aren’t boring!  I already told you!

Muse:  Yes they are!  I think I’ll go swimming now!  What?  This water is not deep enough!

Of course not.  The deepest water in the nearby lake only goes up to your feet.

Muse: I think I’ll take you along with me.  Tee hee!

What?  No!  Put me down!

Muse:  Let’s go exploring.  Whee!  Look at all the toy cities!

They’re real cities.  Don’t touch them!  You’re now about 100 feet tall.  Do you think you can stop?

Muse:  No!  I wanna grow up some more!  Whee!  I’m getting really big now.  Look at all those tiny skyscrapers….

You’re crushing innocent people now.  Can you put me down?  And can you stop growing?

Muse:  No!  I wanna keep growing!  Growing up is so much fun!

I didn’t mean that growing up….

Muse:  This outfit is boring, and so are these shoes.  Time to change!

Don’t!  Everyone will see you naked!

Muse: There.  All changed.

Just like that?

Muse:  I’m a Intangible, remember? Time to keep growing up!  Whee!

This is now getting really stupid.

Muse:  Tee hee!  The skyscrapers are really tiny now….

You’re almost about to cover Manhattan.  Do you think you can stop now?

Muse:  What was that?  I’m hungry.  I wonder if you taste any good, like those ideas….

No!  Don’t eat me!

Muse:  Here I go!  Mmm….

There.  Tee hee!  Growing up is so much fun.  I’m so glad that I decided to do it.  Today’s high is a boring 75 degrees.  It could be hotter but oh well….As for the silver lining, it will be having a special birthday dinner at my grandparents.  I hope they have a lot of food, because it will take a lot to feed a big girl like me.  Tee hee!

To all of you who like growing up like I do, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

I love growing and I LOVE this new body.  I think I’m going to keep it.  Tee hee!
