Me & My Muse – Day 4435: North for Labor Day Weekend

With me having the day off, I’m now in the final stages of checking all the things that I packed. Swimming suit? Check. Flip flops? Whoa! They’re not in there but now they are! Check! Sunglasses? They’re in the car. Check! Mask? Check! Laptop? Can’t pack that until last. But check! I might still be swimming this time, since the weather will be mild and the water will still be warm…

Unlike last year, I’m headed north for Labor Day weekend. This will be a little different than a NESbor day, but quite fun nonetheless since it will be with my brother, parents, and nieces.

Oh, and the story arc is frozen for this whole weekend so we can relax and take it easy.

Muse: Yay! I’m all packed! Are you?

Twin Muse: So am I! I’m glad the arc is paused! I don’t have to practice any lines!

Just about. I just need to double check a few more things.

Muse: I don’t. I have only done that about 20 times. Well, let me know when you’re leaving! I’m heading back to my house to read a book while I’m waiting. Bye!

Twin Muse: I’m going to play more Donkey Kong Bananza while I’m waiting. Time for the next layer!

*Muse and Twin Muse vanishes in a beam of light*

I honestly don’t have too much more to pack. When everything’s in the car and my brother gets home, I will be on my way. I will probably stop at a place in Standish to eat. With it being Labor Day weekend, there might be traffic delays, so I’ll be ready for that.

Time to land this so I can be ready to leave when my brother gets home. It’s time that I begin my Labor Day vacation!

Today’s high is going to be 69 degrees (nice) and the silver lining is being able to go up north for Labor Day weekend.

To those of you who like road trips and spending time with family, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.

Muse: Is he going to leave yet? I have already finished two chapters and I’m still waiting! I think I’ll go and check again…

Twin Muse: I just found half the fossils and half the bananas! Is he ready yet? I hope he’s ready soon!
