Unlike last year, I will not be able to celebrate my birthday with you. Because of an 11 to 7 shift, I have to work the whole time while everyone else gets to enjoy mom’s birthday. Not really all that fair if you ask me.
Today, I will be working from 11 to 7 and use what’s left of that day to celebrate mom’s birthday with my mom. Of course the food will be leftovers, since everyone will have already eaten.
While I’m slaving away at work, my grandma will be coming over with my sister, brother in law, nieces, and my parents friends to celebrate my mom’s 66th birthday. There will be Sukiyaki, one of my mom’s favorites. For dessert, there will be a chocolate cake with white frosting that my dad will be picking up.
With that, I will get ready for work and then unwind after work later on.
Today’s high is going to be 76 degrees and the silver lining is it being my mom’s 66th birthday and being able to celebrate it later on.
