Yup. Just another 11 to 7 shift that I have to get ready for. After that, a two hour Toastmasters DEC meeting that I really don’t want to attend. That’s pretty much this day in a nutshell.
Muse: *yawn*
Twin Muse: So tired…I think I’ll go back to bed.
Why would you do that? You both need to get ready for school!
Muse: Naw! I don’t feel like it!
Twin Muse: Neither do I! Let’s ditch school!
Don’t do that! Anyway, how was that sleepover?
Muse: It was awesome! Those twins were amazing!
Twin Muse: Yes! Very amazing! Tee hee!
Tee hee? Since when did you start saying that?
Twin Muse: Um…It’s the latest! All the cool kids are saying it now! Tee hee!
Well, okay. I don’t know what’s in with you kids these days.
Muse: Well, let’s skip school and have fun today. We’re going to the mall!
Twin Muse: Let’s shop until we drop!
You are not going to the mall. You’re both going to school!
Muse: Make me!
Twin Muse: You can’t make us! After the mall, I’m going to play video games all day!
Teenage rebellion? Why are you going to resort to that?
Muse: Well, you’re an adult. And we don’t listen to adults.
Twin Muse: Yeah. Adults are stupid! Tee hee!
Muse: Let’s get ready to go to the mall! See ya, chump!
Twin Muse: Bye! Tee hee!
*both Muse and Twin Muse vanish in a beam of light*
Well, that’s not good. They’re supposed to go to the school. Not to the mall. I work all day so I’ll have to talk to them later on.
My Twin Muses are 17 years and 4 months today. They’re 4 foot 6 inches tall and they both weigh 70 pounds. The height and weight of a 10 year old.
Today’s high is going to be 42 degrees and the silver lining is tonight, when I can finally relax.
