To all you chemistry geeks out there, the day is finally here. What day am I talking about? I’m talking about Mole Day. On this day, we get to celebrate Avogadro’s Number: 6.02 x 10^23. And with that, we get 1 mol of substance.
If you want to celebrate, you have until 6:02 p.m. to do so. The festivities started at 6:02 a.m. In honor of this day, enjoy this picture of Monty Mole, since I have Mario on the brain.
So go celebrate! Play whack a mole! Play your favorite Mario games and enter all the Monty Mole levels. If you have Super Mario Maker, make a level with all Monty Moles in it! Play as Monty Mole in Super Mario Party Jamboree! Make some guacaMOLE! On this day, the sky’s the limit! Or should I say the center of the earth? We’ll go with that, since moles can’t burrow into the sky.
A little later, I will just take it easy after work. That’s pretty much this day in a nutshell.
My twin Muses are now 1/3,000,000th of an inch today. Now I need to get ready!
Today’s high is going to be 62 degrees and the silver lining is observing Mole Day.
To those of you who like geeky holidays, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: Mole Day, huh? Time to make some guacamole! It’s going to be delicious! Tee hee!
Twin Muse: So it’s Mole Day? I want to help with the guacamole! If we make a normal batch, it will take us days to navigate through it! I can’t wait until it’s done! Tee hee! *sips coffee*
