When you celebrate the arrival of 2024, go to bed at 1:00 a.m., and then get up at 6:00 a.m., you’re going to feel quite tired.
To sum up last night, I pretty much took it easy with my friend, my family and their friends. My parent’s friends came over. It was a mostly chill evening and my brother and I watched Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. with my friend. I then watched my friend play some more Super Mario RPG for the Nintendo Switch.
After that, I had some snacks and played a round of Pokémon Monopoly and ended up winning. While my friend rested, I watched a couple New Years videos on YouTube with my brother: Gangnam Style, Gangnam Style (Hyuna version), and The Final Countdown by Europe.
After that, I rang in the new year with me, my brother, my friend, my parents, and my parents friends. Me and my brother ran outside and honked the car horns, letting the entire neighborhood know that 2024 has arrived. After that, me, my brother, and my friend toasted to the new year. We made a couple toasts, celebrating the hopes of me getting a new job, 2024, and new beginnings.
After the toast, I got ready for bed. It was getting late and I didn’t want to be tired the next day.
With this done, I will now relax. I will have some more snacks and try to go to bed early tonight.
Today’s high is going to be 30 degrees and the silver lining is being able to ring in 2024 with my brother and friend last night.
