I feel like this entire day has been about catching up.
This morning, I woke up without an alarm. Fortunately, it was about a minute before I usually wake up anyway. Unfortunately, since I was on my brother’s schedule, I had even less time to get ready. So I pretty much had breakfast, got my work clothes on, and went to work with him.
At work, I discovered that the Deep Dishes were not made yesterday, so that required some more “catching up”. I had to get morning dough done quickly so that Deep Dish dough could get started right away.
After that, I had to “catch up” so that my bus wouldn’t leave me behind. After catching my bus, it took me home, where I was really able to catch up. I took a shower, did my devotionals, listened to the next three chapters of Jeremiah and posted on some message boards. I am now getting this entry typed, and plan on preparing for tomorrow’s meet and greet at Dow Chemical. All in a day’s work.
Today’s high is going to be 88 degrees and the silver lining is finally being able to catch up.
