If you are viewing this entry, chances are that I survived last night’s dinner rush at work.

Okay, so the dinner rush was not really as bad.  During the hours of 4 to 8, business was insane.  I felt the onslaught as large crowds of people scrambled into the store, trying to get their food before leaving town for Labor Day.

But after about 7:30, business significantly dropped.  The labor was there to fill the orders, so it was definitely manageable.

In the end, our store made a pretty decent amount of money.  I worked a 10 hour shift, so last night was pretty good.

For today, I will be entering relax mode.  I only have to work from 3 to 7, and my friend is coming over.  He will bring some Thai Curry and we will start the 4th Season of Doctor Who.  It’s going to be amazing, and I can hardly wait.

 

Muse:  It should be more relaxing, huh?

Definitely.  I look to working my four hours and having some Thai Curry.

Muse:  And you have an opening shift tomorrow, right?

Yes.  I will have to tell him about that.  It’s now time to get ready.

Muse:  Okay.  Time for the prayer room…

 

Today should be less stressful, considering that most of the people are out of town.  Our store should be slower as a result.

Today’s high is going to be 81 degrees and the silver lining is my friend coming over tonight.

To those of you who like to hang with friends, eat Thai Curry and watch Doctor Who, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
