I can already tell you that I’m looking forward to tonight.  Unless anything else changes,  one of my friends will be coming over tonight.  We will watch another episode of Doctor Who and play Boss Monster.  After that, there’s a good chance that we will play Magic the Gathering and a game of Munchkin, if there’s time.

How is it overdue?  We have tried to find a time that would work in the past to get together.  Unfortunately, our schedules have been quite busy.  But not tonight. Tonight, both me and Jeff are an open book.

Muse:  Hanging out with a friend tonight?  That should be fun!

It will.  I just need to get through my day at the “pizza pit” first.

Muse:  What a coincidence!  You just reminded me.  A friend of mine called last night and we’re going to be hanging out tonight.  We haven’t hung out since April.  It’s been months….

Wow.  Well, for three months, you couldn’t hang out with anyone anyway, since you weren’t feeling yourself.

Muse:  Don’t remind me.  It brings back bad memories….

Sorry.  Anyway, tonight is going to be fun.

Muse:  You also reminded me.  I need to get my place ready for my friend!  Not that it’s a mess or anything.  Everything is picked up.  I just need to vacuum and dust.  If I hurry, I can get some more reading done.  Bye!

 

And if I hurry, I can get some more progress done on my story before I have to work at the “pizza pit”.

Today’s high is going to be 47 degrees and the silver lining will be making more progress on my story and my friend coming over later.
