To recap from yesterday, I failed my mission. While I did brainstorm what clothing the Zorpozians wear, I never actually wrote anything new for my story. I will surely succeed today….
Muse: Succeed at what?
Succeed at working on my story, of course!
Muse: Oh. That. Are you actually going to continue this time?
I surely will. I just can’t have anything distract me.
Muse: Good luck with that! Tee hee!
Hey! I can get things done if I stay focused enough….
Muse: I’ve been thinking about these Me & My Muses. Maybe I should start my own blog! It would be fun! Tee hee!
What? And would you write Me & Kyle segments?
Muse: Why not? You do it all the time so how hard can it be?
Believe me. It’s not always easy.
Muse: Says you! I’m the creative one so it should be a piece of cake. Tee hee!
Try it if you want. I don’t know how long it will last.
Muse: I would make it funner than yours, and more people would read mine, so NYAH!
If you would excuse me, I have a mission to complete.
Muse: A mission that you’ll complete in your pajamas, right?
Of course not! I would get showered first. Now let’s end this.
Muse: No! I want to talk some more! Hey! What are you doing?
Putting you back in my head. In you go!
Muse: But we haven’t even….
With my Muse back inside, I now have a second chance to work on my story….
Old Man: I got another lead for you. My friend just called.
Prudence, right?
Old Man: Yes. He just moved again. He said that he didn’t like the area and he wanted a change of scenery.
At the bar, I got your name. Someone called you Remy.
Old Man: What about that? It’s a nickname that all my close friends call me.
But what does Remy mean?
Old Man: *sigh* If you really need to know, it’s just a shorter version of my name. My name is Remedy – Master of Cures.
Remedy. Okay. Where did Prudence move to?
Remedy: He and his wife Wisdom moved to the very edge of the Realm. It’s a very remote area and it’s not easy to get to. But I know a shortcut. With my directions, you should have no problem getting there. I told him that you’re looking for him so he will wait for you. Good luck on your search!
Thank you. I’m hoping that Prudence can shed some light on what’s wrong with my Muse….
Today’s high is going to be 62 degrees and the silver lining will be more progress on my stories. The A Long Quest Rewrite and The Tale of Zachary Willowbrook: The School Years.
To those of you who like second chances, I hope that you all have a fantastic day.
Muse: He’s not going to make more progress! I’m calling it right now. Tee hee….
Any progress yet? Oh wait! Nothing. I was right. Tee hee!
